The location is unbeatable, with easy access to parks and Lake Michigan. Every detail from custom light fixtures to thoughtful bathroom hooks was impressive. The friendly greeter made check-in a breeze, and unique amenities like antique game tables added charm. Breakfast included delicious yogurt and premium fruit, but the noise level in the room could be distracting at times.

Historic hotel ambiance adds charm.
The air conditioning didn’t work in my room. Even after requesting a fan, the temperature was unbearable. The staff mentioned there was no AC in the building, which was not communicated prior. This was especially frustrating during the hot summer nights, leaving me restless and uncomfortable.

Our stay was truly enjoyable, especially at the rooftop bar with amazing views of the city. The ambiance is vibrant, and the service was swift even during busy hours. Plus, the pet-friendly policy made it easy to bring our large dog along!
My wife says that the noise in the evenings was a real distraction from enjoying our family time. It would be great if they could improve the soundproofing in the rooms for a better experience.

Had an awesome getaway with friends! We loved the rooftop bar and tried out the unique cooking class, which was a highlight. The location is perfect for exploring, and we appreciated the easy access to the L train, making airport trips a breeze. Highly recommend staying if you're looking for a mix of history and fun activities.
One downside was the noise from the downstairs bar. it was pretty loud and made it hard to relax at times. Even on a Saturday night, I didn't expect it to be that distracting.
